Samreen Affan, Director of Compliance and Training

Samreen Affan is the Director of Compliance and Training at Hillside Primary Care, where she has served as a key member of the leadership team since joining the organization in January 2020. Based in San Antonio since 2012, she brought extensive experience in healthcare operations, leadership, and organizational management, quickly advancing into her current executive role.

As Director of Compliance and Training, Samreen provides strategic oversight of compliance, operational excellence, and workforce development across all Hillside Primary Care locations. She leads regulatory compliance initiatives, oversees day-to-day operational performance, develops and implements policies and training programs, and drives continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency, quality of care, and the patient experience. Her ability to align operational strategy with regulatory requirements has been instrumental in supporting the organization’s growth while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and clinical excellence.

Recognized for her collaborative leadership style, analytical problem-solving, and strong communication skills, Samreen is dedicated to building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care.

Samreen holds an Associate Degree in Management and Finance, a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She remains committed to advancing healthcare operations through innovation, operational excellence, and regulatory integrity.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Samreen enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors with her two children, cooking new recipes, painting, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
