Florence ‘Flo’ Pugh, NP-C, is a Board Certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of nursing experience. Born and raised in Michigan, Flo earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, in 2017. Her inspiration to pursue advanced practice grew from personal experience with her parents’ medical challenges, fueling her desire to provide comprehensive, holistic care. With a remarkable military career spanning over 30 years, Flo has served in progressively advanced roles, from medical supply specialist to field medic to nurse, reflecting her lifelong passion for healthcare and service to others. She is a trusted and caring provider at Hillside Primary Care Schertz office.

Florence Pugh was excellent and reassuring, as usual. Also, I was happy to see she’s training a student Nurse Practitioner. The student also was sharp. My waiting time was much less than my last visit.

I’ve always had good people in the lab but I have to say that the young black woman is the best at drawing blood anywhere I’ve been in my almost 70 years. I don’t look at needles and I had to ask if she had started when she was actually finishing. Need to learn her name. Everyone at the Schertz office is great but I’m so thankful for Flo. Love her! Tara is wonderful and front desk is always friendly and helpful.
