Joni Maxwell, FNP

Ms. Joni Maxwell is a West Texas native but feels at home in San Antonio. She earned her undergraduate nursing degree from Middle Tennessee State University and has over a decade of clinical experience in emergency rooms, surgery, and pediatrics. Desiring a greater role in her patients’ health and wellness, Ms. Maxwell completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Texas State University. She is an LGBTQ+ ally and strongly believes in addressing both the physical and socioeconomic determinants of health.

Outside of healthcare, she loves spending time with her family and pets. Her hobbies include reading, playing video games, and learning to sew.
