About Jan Elliott, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Jan Elliott, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, patient-centered primary care in Stone Oak, San Antonio. Her nursing career began in 1986, and she brings decades of clinical experience to helping patients manage everyday health needs, preventive care, and long-term wellness.
Jan earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Angelo State University in 1986, later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Kaplan University, and earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty from Purdue Global in December 2017.
Throughout her career, Jan has combined clinical care with patient advocacy and community leadership. She received a United Way grant to establish a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo and was recognized with the United Way Friends of the Victims of Crime Award for her advocacy work. She also helped launch an EMS helicopter program at Shannon Hospital.
Jan previously founded Best Choice Primary Care in the Castle Hills area of San Antonio. Today, she is proud to serve patients at Hillside Primary Care, where she focuses on listening to patients, supporting informed health decisions, and delivering respectful, high-quality primary care.
