Afren Rajendra, Director of Operations

Afren Rajendra serves as Director of Operations at Hillside Primary Care, having joined the organization in 2023 and progressed through a variety of clinical and administrative roles before assuming his current leadership position. His broad experience across multiple areas of the practice has given him a strong, ground-level understanding of patient care workflows, operational needs, and day-to-day clinic functions. Afren has been instrumental in several key process improvement initiatives, including efforts to streamline patient flow, enhance care coordination, and support the development and optimization of the Hillside App. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a focus on Healthcare Reform and Innovation from The University of Texas at Austin. His academic background in healthcare management and system improvement directly supports his leadership responsibilities. Afren is dedicated to improving workflow quality, supporting staff, and elevating the patient experience across Hillside’s growing network.
